Review:
The length of this trail from Big Pool to Fort Frederick is approximately 5 miles. We gave this trail a Family Friendly Rating of 10 because this is more of an event then it is a ride. Fort Frederick has different types of family oriented events throughout the year. This is a great place to spend the day. Check out the web sites for more information.
This trail we would say is excellent for riders in moderate to good physical shape. Most of it is on the C & O Canal Tow Path to Fort Frederick.
There is a Porta Pottie at Big Pool and bathrooms at the Fort.

The scenery for this trail is mostly wooded and Fort Frederick has a lot to see and do especially when the different events are there.
