The length of this trail from Ashland Md. to Freeland Md. is 18.4 miles. We gave this trail a Family Friendly Rating of 8 because the surface of the trail and the grade is less than 2%.
This trail we would say is excellent for riders in moderate to good physical shape.
There are at least three places, which we know of, that have either bathrooms or Porta Potties along the trail.

Scenery:
The scenery for this trail is mostly wooded. It goes through Gun Powder State Park Md. which has a stream flowing along it part of the way. This is a great ride.
