Review:
The length of this trail from Newville to the Shippensburg Township Park is approximately 12 miles. We gave this trail a Family Friendly Rating of 7 because of the types of surfaces and less than a 2% grade on most of the trail, except at the road crossings. This trail we would say is excellent for riders in moderate to good physical shape.
There are two bricked bathrooms along the trail. One at the beginning of the trail and one at the end. There are also picnic tables and a pavilion at the end of the trail near Shippensburg.

Most of this trail is hard packed crushed stone. The beginning of the trail and street crossing are paved.

The scenery for this trail is mostly farmland and some wooded areas.
